MY PASSION FOR MUSIC AND HOW IT PLAYS A ROLE IN MY LIFE

I am choosing to blog about my love for Music .I have had a passion for music ever since I was little ,I would tell my dad in the truck that I wanted to listen to AC/DC (http://www.acdc.com/ca/home) or Nelly I think I was like 6 or 7 at that time and I was always listening to music, it was constantly playing in my room. I got a Walkman for one of my Birthdays because my parents were tired of telling me to keep it down, I would get in trouble for not replying to their questions because I had my headphones up too loud to hear them. When I got a little bit older I started saving up for an iPod so that I could expand my music library, when I got my iPod is when I really got into it I would literally play it 24/7 I couldn't go without music. Music had become my addiction...More recently I got myself a bigger newer iPod that was capable of more and now I have gotten into mixing music. I find it frustrating and stressful to do because their is so many different components to it .I like how the complexity of it makes me think and work, I need to get a good program for it to become easier, I am at the point where I have completely slowed down my iPod I have so much music on it. When im doing my school work I think so much better when I have a headphone in and a song I love, I focus so much better and when im not listening to music I feel weird and cant focus its terrible. Music has taken over my life and I love it...

This movie is about a man stating his opinion and his ideas about our freedoms or lack thereof with copyrights. This film shows extreme bias. Because he is talking about his opinion on the copyrights and how artists and people such as ‘Girl talk’ use samples  and how they can use many samples from a variety of sources that did not give them the right or permission to make the songs and that type of music. He is trying to make the world open their eyes about what happens with copyrights and to know what’s going on and how, yes its illegal but should be used for promotional purposes and not to scare people from expressing themselves and away from all of this music or culture that is becoming introduced to the world. “Copyright is out of control, it’s been manipulated for prophet at everyone’s expense…”

“It’s beneficial to share ideas” This is bias because this is entirely Girl talk’s opinion on what is going on around him and what could potentially happen to him. I agree with him though because he is an artist of great talent and this should be shared not stopped, copyright has indeed gone a little too far. This film appeals to authority because it’s about these big names like Disney and characters like Mickey Mouse. But it just so happens to be in a more negative way than people would like it to be. This video shows just how serious copyright is and what can happen.

Ideas are fuel. If all of these ‘ideas’ of the world were copyrighted then the future would remain the same as the world we know today. The worlds not going to move forward unless copyright gives the world more freedom of ideas .Copyright has gone too far is saying what we can and can’t use because it’s under a copyright with extreme protection and ridiculous laws. “This is Remix, not piracy.”  This video shows a great argument against copyright.
